Abstract

Post-divorce women's economic rights are a significant issue in today's modern society. Divorce is an event that significantly changes the dynamics of women's lives, especially in terms of economic independence. However, there are still inhibiting factors that affect the implementation of women's economic rights after divorce. This study aims to analyze the inhibiting factors that influence the implementation of women's economic rights after divorce. This study uses a qualitative approach by conducting in-depth interviews with divorced women and collecting data from various related sources. The results of the study show that there are several inhibiting factors that affect the implementation of women's economic rights after divorce. First, changes in women's social and economic status after divorce often lead to financial instability. Many women experience decreased income and have difficulty meeting their basic needs. Another factor is gender discrimination in the workplace. Many women face difficulties in finding a decent job after a divorce. They may experience discrimination in terms of salary and promotion, or have difficulty accessing equal career opportunities with men. There is family conflict which is one of the inhibiting factors for the implementation of women's economic rights after divorce. This research provides a deeper understanding of the inhibiting factors that affect the implementation of women's economic rights after divorce. These findings can become a basis for the government and related institutions in designing policies and programs that support women in building economic independence after divorce.
